Custom Cabinets
With over 40 years in Custom Cabinetry, Freeman Remodel offers an unlimited range of possibilities; From Traditional Face Frame, Flush Inset or Modern Frameless Cabinetry.
As both a custom cabinet shop and a licensed general contractor, we can simply provide and install your new cabinets or handle your entire project from start to finish. Our average lead time for cabinetry and install is 4-6 weeks from time of order after finalizing design details. Design can be done in 1 week or take several weeks to complete depending on complexity and your urgency to make decisions. Hiring one of our recommended designers well in advance can expedite your order.
Full kitchen remodels as both your GC and cabinet provider we're typically booked out 6-8 months before starting demo after signing an approved estimate. During this waiting period to begin we make ourselves available for planning, design, permits etc. We're a small company and try to only take on one project at a time to give every customer our full attention. Time to complete after demo ranges from 6-12 weeks depending on the size of project. When you hire Freeman Remodel as your GC for your entire remodel you can expect the highest level of respect and cleanliness for your home. Communication will be clear. Our subcontractor's involved for Drywall, Flooring, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC are trusted and known to do the same.
Transparency of the average cost to remodel your kitchen with us is not a secret we feel a need to keep to ourselves. Every project is different but not completely different, it should never take weeks to build an estimate and start a productive conversation with our clients. Our long-standing relationships with vendors and subcontractors allow predictable cost assumptions.
As a very rough ballpark cost for cabinets alone.
Built, installed and painted/finished in a Simple Shaker, Slab or Edge banded door style with a melamine interior. Dovetail drawers. Finished End panels. Blum hardware. Expect $175-$200 per SF i.e., 8'x12' @ $175 per SF = $16,800
Built, installed and painted/finished in a Raised Panel, Applied Moulding or Mitered door style with a finished plywood interior, hardwood dovetail drawers, multiple pullouts and accessories, custom hood etc. Expect $225-$250 per SF i.e., 8x12 @ $250 per SF = $24,000
Our cabinets can be installed unfinished, ready for spray-in-place finish, or pre-finished, with hardened baked on conversion varnish. Available in any color, dye, or stain to your desired sheen; with any species of hardwood.
Full kitchen remodels are our primary focus, but we do offer Re-Facing in situations that make sense if your existing cabinets are in good condition, with little re-configuring and or modification required to meet your goals. A typical reface would include the following options:

Doors & Windows
Proper installation of exterior doors and windows is often overlooked and undervalued. Our quality of detail in creating tight, consistent reveals with proper mechanical function is a benchmark we hold well above industry standard.
We go the extra mile to ensure that your investment stands the elements of the Northwest with the most dynamic waterproofing systems developed by Dupont.
Our finish process is typically done in our shop paint booth when possible, rather than in your home. This allows us to spray top quality industrial grade finishes that cannot be done in an uncontrolled environment. We allow the finish to properly cure before handling, install and exposure to weather reducing the risk of warping, veneer failure and poor finish quality.
